It has an unfortunate name, but guys, pilk is really, really good, especially if you like ice cream floats.
Pilk, a portmanteau of Pepsi and milk, strives to be THE DRINK this holiday season. It’s creamy and sweet and apparently goes perfectly with cookies. I’m a big fan of dirty sodas, so it’s no surprise that I like pills.
What is chicken?
Pilk is a drink made from two ingredients: Pepsi and milk. It’s the holiday season and it’s time to eat milk, at least according to Lindsay Lohan and Pepsi. All over social media, people are trying out pilk. Some love it, some hate it, but there’s no denying that Pepsi has knocked viral marketing out of the park.
Now it’s a straight meme, with people trying it for the first time either loving it or hating it. Pro tip, I like dirty sodas with heavy cream instead of milk. The thickness and richness of the cream is more like a melted soda float and is extra smooth and delicious. Bonus points if you use sweet vanilla cream instead of milk.
soda salt
If you’ve been to Utah, where the Lindsay Lohan Christmas movie Falling for Christmas is set, you’re no stranger to dirty sodas. Dirty soda, for the uninitiated, is a Utah specialty: soda and dairy in one glass. It is creamy, sweet and delicious. Dairy and soda are a very common combination: think root beer soda (root beer and vanilla ice cream) or egg custards (chocolate syrup, seltzer, milk). And it’s not just the United States, the combination of milk and soda is popular all over the world. There’s Milkis (Korean milk soda), Calpis (Japanese lactic acid, milk and soda water), and Italian cream soda (flavored soda water and cream). Fizzy drinks and dairy products are a heavenly marriage.
how to make chicken
- pour a can of Pepsi in an ice-cold glass.
- to crown it all with 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup of whole milk.
- taste as isor mix and enjoy.
milk ingredients
You only need 2 ingredients for the pilk: Pepsi and milk.
- Pepsi – opt for the classic Pepsi or Cherry or Vanilla
- Milk – whole milk is best, for the creamiest taste.
variants
Instead of regular Pepsi, try these variations to make your perfect drink!
- Pepsi for van – a delicate and creamier flavor thanks to vanilla.
- cherry pepsi – if you like cherry soda, then the Cherry Pepsi Pilk is awesome. I like the tart sweetness of the Pepsi cherry.
- Vanilla ice cream – a classic Pepsi float with vanilla ice cream, no pips at all, but definitely delicious.
- cream – cream is so much better than milk, it reduces bubbles and is thick and luxurious.
- vanilla sweet cream – is the elite drink, the smoothness and richness of the sweet vanilla cream will make your pilk something to drink and enjoy by the fire.
